Write to your local senator, go to a local town hall, and tell them that it’s time to make a change because 50 years of drug war, and it has only gotten worse!

Talk to the HHS

Go to your state HHS (Health and human services) and Formally Recommend that they Regulate Illicit substances because of a health crisis.

Formal Recommendations

This is a little involved, but the controlled substances act says that any entity or person can formally recommend the removal of a controlled substance for any reason. So you can write a formal recommendation to the DOJ
